I’m trying to book my stay but how do I filter it so that I am only choosing to be in a room with other strangers and not a private room for myself?

belated congrats but congrats nonetheless on traveling solo. The part where you said making decisions for your self versus making decisions for other people really was something I could identify with. I usually travel with the same few people because we all have photography as a hobby and we all accept the fact that our trips will be focused mainly on getting photos... however they are all pretty content to have me make most of the decisions. Almost all groups trips that I've been involved with were locations that I decided on and on dates that I suggested as well. I also do most of the AirBnB or hotel selections as well as the flights. Most of the things I am fine with but sometimes its the deciding on an itinerary for the places we go to that gets me stressed out because while we do have photography as the one main thing we all like to do, there are also some very big differences in every person in the group such as one person is a very picky eater and is a bit of a cheapskate, while I am willing to splurge on food and hotels and will pretty much eat anything and I will always want to try the local cuisine. That's why I try to mix up my trips and have some be with friends and then some will be on my own. On solo travels I get to do things like food tours or make last minute changes based on my mood or whether or if I find something else to do and not have to worry about the other people in the group might think.

could you go more into your experience in the hostel sharing a space with other people? I am going alone to copenhagen in a few weeks as my boyfriend has an emergency and can no longer come on what was supposed to be our trip. so now I need to book somewhere to stay and wasn’t sure whether to get a hotel so i can really relax alone or a hostel :)

I have seen so many videos on Palm Springs. They are, for the most part, Just touristy nonsense. GURL! You did it! I know all of those places. So good to see some real stuff. The design district is generally way to expensive and pretentious though there are exceptions. Kind of for people visiting from LA that have no clue. There are even more great places to visit so I hope you go again (If you haven't already!) and explore more. Thank you for a well made video. Keep up the good work!

For solo female first time travellers from outside Europe, Copenhagen is safe, clean, frendly, tasty and fun and the woman are strong and independed as well. Great choice. I could also recomend Lisbon Portugal (and Porto), Budspest Hungary, Wienna Austria, Rome (most cities in Italy including Naples) and any German city (Berlin for fun, Munich for beer, laidback city life and nature and Hamburg for culture). If i could choose one i would go to Lisbon ❤️

Great audio great video and I especially got a kick out of seeing my dear Friend Barbara Eisenberg at the street Fair owner of the vintage booth. FYI, that is just the tip of the iceberg. She has jewels and ball gowns and haute couture as well. We are all waiting for her to return after the Covid fiasco.
